Areas of FocusIn order to accomplish the most good with available resources provided through Taco, Inc., The White Family Foundation's primary focus remains centered on those areas the White Family generously supported for many years, particularly in the areas of arts/music and education. More recently, The White Family Foundation has expanded its gifting focus to include worthy, community-based organizations committed to making progress in healthcare delivery, community services and environmental stewardship. True to its mission, the Foundation is committed to serving diverse groups of people when awarding grants. Whenever appropriate, the Foundation will favor small to medium-sized non-profits serving significant social goals here in RI and Southeast Massacussetts; in the grant selection process. By doing so, it is the Foundation's express intent to play a role in helping those agencies grow to better serve their respective communities. Potential applicants should be certain their request fits into one or more of these focus areas before submitting a Letter of Application. Those areas are:
